Understanding Your Prepaid Credit Balance

Trustico® Prepaid Credit is a balance you hold against your account. You add funds in advance, and future orders are paid from that balance without entering payment details each time.

How the balance behaves depends on two things : the currency it is held in, and whether it sits on a partner account or an individual login. Both are worth understanding, because together they explain what you see when you sign in.

Your Local Currency Balance

Your balance is held in your local currency, rather than being converted into a single fixed currency. Pricing across your account is shown in that same local currency, derived in real time from the underlying United States Dollar (USD) price.

Funding in your local currency is therefore the cleanest approach, because the balance you add and the prices you pay are already in the same currency. Choosing a different currency is possible, but it adds the bank and conversion costs that funding locally avoids.

You can hold balances in more than one currency at the same time, each kept separately against your account. Where no local currency balance exists, a default United States Dollar (USD) balance is used instead.

Which Balance Applies First

At checkout, your local currency balance is always applied first. The default United States Dollar (USD) balance is used only where no local currency balance is held.

Trustico® Prepaid Credit appears as a payment option whenever your balance covers the order total in full. Where the balance is lower than the total, the option is not offered, though the support team can apply the available amount manually and leave the remainder to another method. Shared Across Partner Accounts

Both individual customers and partners can hold a balance. When Trustico® Prepaid Credit is purchased against a partner account, the partner account is credited first by default, so the funds belong to the company rather than to the person who paid.

That means every user and staff member linked to the partner account can see the history and spend from the same balance. It is the reason a balance may appear on the partner account rather than on the individual login that made an earlier payment. Learn About the Partner Service 🔗

Older Personal Balances

On our earlier system, partners were billed only in United States Dollars (USD), and a balance was attached to the individual who made the payment rather than to the partner account. A balance held that way still sits on that personal login.

If you hold an older personal balance, the support team can transfer it into your partner account in your local currency, so every connected user can see and use it. The transaction history on the personal login stays where it is and cannot be moved. Contact Our Support Team 🔗

Adding Funds

Funds can be added at any time using the payment methods available to your account, including credit card, PayPal, and bank transfer. Crediting is immediate in most cases, so the balance becomes usable within minutes. Add Trustico® Prepaid Credit 🔗

Separate From Trustico® 30 Day Credit

Trustico® Prepaid Credit is money already deposited against your account. Trustico® 30 Day Credit is different : it is an approved arrangement to pay after an order has been placed. Holding one does not affect the other, and both can be used on the same account. Learn About Trustico® 30 Day Credit 🔗
